NYFW Model Off-Duty Looks
First is model Daiane Sodre, who is seen wearing a tasteful monochrome, all-black look. She has a baggy leather bomber jacket on, chunky Prada sunglasses, and a black bag. What I love most about this look is how it looks so effortlessly maximalist and minimalist at the same time. The all-black gives it composition and allows for the minimalist parts of the look to shine, while the big sunglasses and jacket give it a natural maximalism.
Continuing with the leather pieces, Aemelia Fay was seen in leather pants, a gray and white jacket, a black leather clutch, and a muted light blue sweater. I love the cohesion the two leather pieces bring to this look. She nailed the pop of color as well, through the bit of her light blue sweater showing. She’s staying on trend- light blue is widely anticipated to be the most fashionable color of 2026. Fay has a substack called Taest Bud (one of my favorites) where she broke down her NYFW looks!
Next is socialite Olivia Palermo, who is wearing a bold faux fur brown coat and a bright red knitted sweater and skirt set. My favorite part about this look is the coordination of the warm tones, and her sweater’s neckline. Funnel neck tops were extremely popular- they were seen on many celebrities off duty.
Again with the faux fur trend, model Mary Alejandra Diaz is seen wearing an ankle-length moss green jacket, gray pants, and a black bag and a classic- Margiela tabis. I absolutely love how her fur isn’t a traditional color, and how the “pop” of color in her look is actually the main piece itself, while the rest of her outfit is relatively monotone. The rose in her hand makes the perfect unexpected accessory!
